Cos’è la lingua corrente?
For the drafting of this publication it was decided to use a simple language, more understandable and immediate, while maintaining the originality of the teachings. The present version of the Lotus Sutra is dedicated to all believers and scholars of this wonderful Sutra. The versions of the Lotus Sutra present on the market, are difficult to understand for us Western readers, because of a language typical of this kind of publications, full of repetitions and redundancies. The present fresher and current version also helps the less experienced reader to enter the depth of the narrative.
SINOSSI
The Lotus Sutra certainly represents the summit of the Buddha’s teaching, because it includes all the paths he traces for every type of human being. The depths of the Teachings included in this marvelous Sutra risk creating misunderstandings, misunderstandings and divisions, when the intent is, on the contrary, to unite.
This version of the Lotus Sutra was realized with the sole intent to bring people, in a language closer to their own, what otherwise would be too far from the common way of expressing itself of contemporary man. Over the years it has represented, and still represents for many Italian believers and scholars, a starting point for understanding and practicing what the Buddha in his infinite compassion has given us. We have tried to streamline the presentation of the individual chapters, obviously leaving unaltered the teachings contained in it.
Present on the market also in audiobook version, this text can be read and really listened to by everyone, because everyone is dedicated, and not only to those who are familiar with this type of Sacred Texts. It represents a recovery of what is rightfully, without intermediaries, masters and organizations.

Capitolo V
Kashyapa, supponi che gli alberi e l’erba dei prati di migliaia di mondi, incluse le erbe che crescono nei boschi, nelle foreste, sui monti, nelle valli, in pianura o accanto ai fiumi, tutte queste piante di forma e nomi diversi, siano sovrastate da
una grande nube.
Immagina poi che, da questa nube immensa, prenda a riversarsi una grande, leggera e benefica pioggia. Tutte le piante vengono bagnate dalla medesima acqua, sia che abbiano radici forti e profonde che giovani e deboli. I tronchi, i rami e le foglie degli alberi, i prati e le erbe che crescono nei boschi e nelle foreste vengono tutti irrorati dall’acqua.
Ecco quindi che i vecchi alberi, quelli giovani, quelli più alti, quelli medi e quelli molto bassi, ricevono tutti l’acqua di questa grande pioggia. Tutte le piante ricevono quest’acqua, chi più chi meno, e l’acqua è la stessa acqua per tutte le piante, e proviene da una sola unica nube.

Il Buddha disse: “Quanto vi sto per dire è l’assoluto grande Mistero, è la perfetta conoscenza. Tutti nel mondo credono che io, Shakyamuni Buddha, abbia lasciato il palazzo reale nel quale vivevo e nella città di Gaya, assorto in profonda meditazione, abbia raggiunto la suprema
Illuminazione.
In verità figli miei credetemi io sono Illuminato da un’infinità di tempo incalcolabile, molto difficile da comprendere. Immaginate che qualcuno riduca in polvere centinaia di migliaia di mondi. Pensate che il numero di particelle sia quantificabile?”
